After last week’s reveal trailer, sim racers can go hands-on with the highly-anticipated Assetto Corsa EVO at the ADAC SimRacing Expo 2024 next week.

After months of speculation, Kunos Simulazioni lifted the wraps off Assetto Corsa EVO last week with an announcement trailer offering a first look at Assetto Corsa’s long-awaited sequel.

While sim racers must wait until 16 January to play the early access build, Assetto Corsa EVO will be playable at the ADAC SimRacing Expo 2024 in Dortmund, Germany, next week on 18 – 20 October.

Assetto Corsa EVO Will Be Playable At ADAC SimRacing Expo 2024

Assetto Corsa EVO’s appearance at the ADAC SimRacing Expo will mark the first time the game will be playable to the public. Sim racers can experience a “selection of cars and tracks in varying weather and track conditions” that will feature in the early access release next January.

Assetto Corsa EVO will be playable in several booths at the ADAC SimRacing Expo, allowing players to experience it with sim racing hardware from the likes of Fanatec, Logitech, and Moza Racing:
  • Fanatec – Booth BC6
  • Logitech-G – Booth DE6/7
  • Moza Racing | Cooler Master – Booth J5/6
  • Moza Racing | Caseking – Booth J7/8
  • rSeat – Booth G4-1
  • Hyundai – Booth CDE10
Ahead of Assetto Corsa EVO's first public showcase, Kunos Simulazioni has released a video showing developers putting several stock, GT, drift, and racing cars through their paces while capturing data for Assetto Corsa EVO. Several previously unannounced cars are shown, including the Alfa Romeo Junior electric SUV, BMW M2 Competition, and Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.

Kunos Simulazioni has yet to confirm if these models will feature in Assetto Corsa EVO, but the video could be previewing playable cars in the ADAC SimRacing Expo build.

Assetto Corsa EVO will launch on Steam early access on 16 January 2025. Assetto Corsa's sequel will feature a mix of road and racing cars, with dynamic time and weather confirmed for launch.

A brief shot in the trailer showing what appears to be a public road with traffic also hints that Assetto Corsa EVO will feature an open-world location based on the Nurburgring’s surrounding roads.

Now see this is what I am looking forward to.

Honestly my only worry is mod support. But I think AC will be around for at least 2 more years minimum, maybe even longer depending on EVO's first year and companies like URD, VRC and RSS. I am curious though to see how far Peter and x4fab can take SOL/PURE and CSP, and if they'll be making an eventual switch over to EVO. I still have a lot "questions" but I am willing to see what Jan brings us and the future after that.

Damnit, though I have money sell me the Aston Evo, Vette and missing tracks for ACC at least before you leave it to die. PLEASE

Will this gameplay demo allowed to record the screen and make it public?

I'm going to be using AC for a lot longer... It'll take time for ACE to reach this level of mods saturation! I think I removed Rfactor in around 2018...

This would be absolutely terrible. AC EVO should have all the things that CSP/Pure offer in their game/engine by default. All those mod's are A LOT of hassle. It's only needed in AC because it's massively outdated without the mod's.

EVO is a completely new game. If Kunos makes is so basic that CSP/Pure are needed for the visuals then the complete game is flawed in my opinion. The only mod's that could/should be fun are extra cars and tracks, for the rest the basic game should have everything on board this time... And I hope that it has more content than basic AC, the amount of tracks in the original AC is really lacking.

I don't know if any of you watch Alberto Naska's motorsports videos on YouTube, but would be nice Kunos added all the small motorsport Series such as: Formula 4, Mitjet, Legend Cars, Lotus Cup, Predator and so on... ah Euronascar!

Why mods? Kunos should make a baked game that do not require the community to make SOL/PURE if mods like the PURE is required for ACE then the game is disappointing.

We need ranked online system and a way to race with features not the **** going in AC where you can't race unless you are in a league.

I'm not saying no to mods btw but they are not the most important topic.

I don't race online or take part in any online racing clubs or events, so that stuff doesn't matter to me one bit. Purely offline only. I like Pure for what it offers in customization lighting/weather/color at the click of a button and CSP for what it allows the community to do with ac, along with not having to run the base game just to do what I want and set it up. So I do hope that comes to evo. Because I doubt that type of customization will be offered in the slightest degree. At least not what I've grown acustom to

Overtake, can we get a "hmmmmm, not sure about that" emoticon? I feel like I need it for a comment or two on this page :D

As DEISIDE TLB wrote: "Damnit, though I have money sell me the Aston Evo, Vette and missing tracks for ACC at least before you leave it to die. PLEASE..." AGREED!!! Looking forward to AC EVO a lot but please KUNOS when you get the time keep ACC alive and also update the ACC GT4 grid, ACC could live parallel to AC EVO and become its own historic GT SIM and sell ($$$$$$) for years to come...and the GT3 'Vette and Aston Martin EVO as DLC would be fabulous!!!!

I have a friend who has tested/competed in these except the Lotus, all are super fun cars to drive! They'll be big fan favorites!
