A question: can this program support long distance telemetry? Cause my friends and I are in different cities/countries, so I would like to know whether I can do AC telemetry for them on my computer, and if it is possible how to configure the internet parameters?
And again thanks for your selfless dedication and great effort!

Iko Rein updated Telemetry Tool for AC with a new update entry:

Telemetry Tool for AC

Version 14.2 is here.

  • Math Channels can be now used in Workspace
  • Fixed many restart and first lap related timing and other issues.
  • 64 for car support added also for PC2
  • DRIVING: Modified bit how tyre temperature coloring works
  • STATS - option to customize, what data is shown
  • Fixed issues + improved the Race History loading...

Hello! amazing tool, just one quick question - how can i set up a client for this from another device? I currently have a MAC available but i've failed to be able to run the telemetry tool so i've not even got to networking part. Docs in the site seem a bit outdated and also mac/linux installer links are broken.

If you could point me in the right direction or tell me what do i need to do/install/setup on my mac to be able to see the data it'd be awesome!

Thanks in advance

- UPDATE:

In case someone is in the same boat, in the bin folder, there's a zip called mac. Just had to extract it and re-run runMac.sh file

Hello, and thank for this amazing tool.
Just a quick question: why, since the release of version 13, the Race Info tab doesn't work on ACC? Because i was used to use it a lot, but now i can't, beacuse it didn't give me any information, except for the average fuel consumption. Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,

The RaceInfo tab and all other tabs should work. I have done quite extensive testing on the tool. Are you on the 14.2 or some older version?

Also are you using the Tool for your own use or as a race engineer?

If you use it for your own use, are you sure the ACC's Broadcasting mode is working? You can see this if there are driver names e.g. in the Map.

If you use it as a race engineer, there are some changes in 14.x, so setting up the race engineering setup requires a bit different setup.

Cheers.

Hello. Thank you for this, I find it very useful.

Is there a way of graphing a value (speed, throttle, brake, etc.) vs time? This would basically be a constantly scrolling graph showing for example the last 30 to 60 seconds.

I can only figure out how to graph parameters vs. lap distance.

Hi, thank you so much for the updated tool.
I am however experiencing an issue, whereby the current laptime on my SF1000 wheel doesn't update the current laptime whenever I end a lap. It just keeps going on. How do I configure it to show a per-lap basis?

There is no "rolling telemetry" in the Tool (yet). St this point all telemetry traces are distance based, as that is the only way to compare laps/data accurately. I have been thinking, if a rolling telemetry would be useful for short period of times, like last 10 or 15 seconds and then it would still be based on the lapdistance, so that the compared values would be useful. But you can get the same data, if you use the Telemetry view and RED lap is selected as source, as you can see the real-time data updated on that view. And same in Workspace, if you select the 'Live data' option.

You can however do "time based" graphs in the XY Plotter, if you set the X-axis to Laptime and if you set the RED lap as source, the you get a graph, which get's live updates.

Cheers.

Hi,

Does this happen on all tracks in AC (or RF2) or only on some tracks? Are you on 14.2? Which format do you use for the forward, F12020 or F1 23? I have been testing online/offline on many tracks and haven't really seen this.

That laptime updates should work as the 'last lap time', the session best (personal/all) or delta's (D-1, D+1, own lap) do not work, and that is due to the SF1000 (at least on the current firmware.

Cheers

Hello! Thank you for the tool!
I set up the newest version of the tool with Assetto Corsa, and it receives all data except for multi car data somehow. And, more importantly, I have an issue with sf1000 steering wheel only receiving speed and rpm data and not receiving lap data at all, could you help me with that issue please?
