Where do i find the trace files? What are they?
I checked online and this is a quote from Lasercutter, the author of the track.
"Added what will likely be the last update as I'm not modding for the foreseeable future, the reverse layout is not perfect but it is usable, hopefully there aren't any major bugs with it as I have no idea when or if I'll get around to fixing them."

Yeah, I did read that. If you don't know about trace files you're probably not generating them. You can read more here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/how-to-create-a-trace-file.62304/
I've found them very useful in the past for diagnosing startup issues. Could be useful as you have 2 layouts and only 1 broken so comparing the two might point us in the right direction.
Having said that it could be just one of those "rF2" things.

I can confirm that the same wall crashed me back to desktop. I will see if the same wall causes this problem on the forwards layout. If it's fine, I suggest we swap to normal direction Knockhill

I can use both tracks and create trace files. It wll be tomorrow before i get a chance to do this.
What will I do with them when I have created them? Do you have time to look over them?

We will swap to something indeed. I will test some crashes in the normal direction as well to see.

Just tried, it seemed not to be a problem hitting that wall.

Well.. I didn't even get to load in Knockhill Reverse before the game crashed on me. Normal layout is fine. Sooo, I guess we will change it!

So the password showing for me is the old usual password. However I was able to join last weeks race list and it showed me the correct one.
All good now.

I have actually no idea. The only things installed on the server is Knockhill, the TC 850 and whatever default stuff that's on all rF2 servers.
If you go to Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64 and open the "ModMgr"

Set up the Working Dir as you main rF2 folder and Packages Dir as the the Packages folder (the "B" button down right to browse). Usually ModMgr actually tell why something isn't working.
Not that it fits with the error message, but it's a place to start!
