On day one of ADAC SimRacing Expo 2024, OverTake had the chance to drive AC EVO - and we even got to live stream it. The recording of the full stream is now back on our YouTube channel!

Tune in to the video above to watch our team turn some laps at Imola in a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, a Hyundai i30 N at Brands Hatch and finally, an Alpine A110 S at Mount Panorama.

Along with the now confirmed Mount Panorama, there are also glimpses at the new UI and HUD, plus many more details that we have found out by being on the ground at the event in the Fanatec booth. Our chat with Game Director Davide Brivio also resulted in a few interesting features being confirmed.

Stay tuned to both the OverTake YouTube channel and our website to find out more about AC EVO when more information becomes available.

What are you most looking forward to within Assetto Corsa EVO? Let us know in the comments below and join the discussion in our forums below!

I am surprised by all this negativity in this thread. People dashing out so much hate for a pre-alpha (!) version of a game and all they have seen were some small snippets of review-videos.
Also positive guys like Jardier are dissed for being positive. Whats wrong with you guys?
In all my time in simracing it's never been any different, just gotta take it with a grain of salt.

I allways wished for a modern rF1 with the same amount of fidelity, features and modding on top of it. I have high hopes in that regard that ACE will be exactly that compared to it's natural predecessor wich completely fell flat on it's face with too many limitations for me personaly.

Completely agree, if not the for the community no one would be talking about the original AC at all these days...

I just hope that Kunos this time around leaves the game open, though i am seeing similar shortcuts allready (like no SC/FCY or pitstops at the beginning).

This is indeed my hopes as well... Even though they're saying forever now, they are going to have the inspiration to work on their next project at some point... As long as it's as open ended as the original has we have some chance of getting the missing simulation features in through the backdoor...

In that regard it'll be interesting to see how rF2 does in the next five years because it's now at a point where AC was when Kunos switched to ACC.

The next 2-3 years whilst ACE will be locked away unmoddable or only for the few chosen modders will be key for rF2s lifespan...

It's in far better shape than it was 5 years ago, has some great modding talent working on it and all it takes is the right bit of inspiration from one talented individual and we'll see a similar situation happen with rF2...

Just without the need to add missing simulation features to game play at the race track like was needed for AC...

And looking at the specs of both titles it's proapbly harder to get ACE running reasonably well. As said, the moment of truth comes when we see how it feels and performs with big grids online and offline, because that's the moment when all pieces of the puzzle have to fall into one place. It's clearly not an easy task. A demo with ten cars or no AI at all on track doesn't tell alot. I mean, hotlapping is allways an option too but if it's really like they said in the interviews there is a challeing road ahead.

It'll be their first real attempt at a decent single player title with their RPG driving game ACE...

AC and ACC both have had and continue to have many SP fans up in arms with how bad their AI was on those titles... Even with the communities help on AC...

The MP side needs a big improvement over the countless times that I've seen "ACC servers are down, sorry guys" and I'm not in any ACC focused leagues...

So it's another one of these ambitious projects, where what is marketed could be really awesome... But it does come with a heavy dose of "they haven't met my expectations with this before"...
