You can buy any part you want for as long as you can afford it. On top of that, more advanced parts will unlock the ability to fine-tune your car's performance. The developers have promised a focused update early next year that details the ins and outs of tuning in Japanese Drift Master.
Everything we know so far about visual tuning is available in the video above. There has not been much, if anything, new, but the new year will produce a lot of new updates. Japanese Drift Master is promising a lot when it comes to tuning; time will tell if they can deliver on their promises.

Tuning Update
As one of the most frequent subjects the community wants to hear updates about, tuning is and will continue to be, a major part of the Japanese Drift Master title. You will be able to buy new parts for each car, and these parts will come in tiers - each tier is more expensive than the last. JDM's Open-world Replication Project
Within Japanese Drift Master, the open world is based on famous and recognisable Japanese landscapes. Perhaps one of the most famous sections that are modelled within Japanese Drift Master is the Haruna Lake land space, or Haikama Lake, as it is known in reality. Hardware Inputs
For sim racers interested in roaming the recreated Japanese landscapes of Japanese Drift Master, having hardware that will be officially supported is essential. Steering wheels, pedals, handbrakes and shifters are systematically being added to the list of supported devices, making sure that even the hardcore sim racer can kick back and relax knowing that their hardware will be supported.Getting every combination working is the development team's goal; however, ensuring each combination works appropriately could take some time, potentially post-release.
