With the 1.11.0 update, Rennsport has slowly added new content and a few new features - but not triple screen support. Sim racers are wondering: Will it ever be implemented?
A big summer update to launch the open beta phase, Steam availability and most recently, a new car and a community track - Rennsport has been making progress in 2024. However, for many sim racers, this is not enough, as they are still missing certain features.
While VR support did arrive in July, triple screen support did not - and many sim racers are missing this feature. Many a comment section on Rennsport articles or videos often see the community asking for this feature, and unfortunately, those who do want triple screen support will have to be patient still.
The reason behind this is that the dev team's focus is on other elements. "We completely understand that many in our community are eager for Triple Screen support, and we hear them! Right now, our focus is on a few key priorities that we believe will push Rennsport forward in exciting ways, especially as we work on features that represent the future of sim racing."
Meanwhile, the only options to use triple monitors with the sim seem to be Nvidia Surround and AMD Eyefinity. Our own @Michel Wolk tried it via the former on his setup, but it was not a real alternative for him - the image on the side monitors is stretched, as no corrections for the monitors' bezels or angles are available. The stretched image is particularly obvious on the left monitor, with the wing mirror not looking natural at all.
There is a "projection correction" slider in the rendering options, but in Michel's experience, this is not enough to achieve correct angles his setup - it does improve things, but accurate angles are not possible to achieve on his setup. The setting appears to be intended for curved monitors rather than triples.

Michel's view, using with the default projection correction setting (left) and with the slider at 100 (right).
As a result, the disappointment of those with triple-screen rigs who cannot use the potential of their setups within Rennsport is understandable, although the game is still in its open beta phase, mind you. The eventual full release could have triple screen support once it launches - or maybe it will arrive even earlier.

"We'll definitely keep this conversation open"
When asked about the feature, Rennsport stated that it "while Triple Screen support isn't in the immediate roadmap, we're always listening and adapting based on feedback. As we continue to develop Rennsport, we'll definitely keep this conversation open."The reason behind this is that the dev team's focus is on other elements.
