LAS VEGAS F1 2024
(Almost) All New For 2024!
The update for the LAS VEGAS track has landed! Now based on several available references, and not just a diagram of the track. Sponsors are based on the 2023 locations.
Thanks to all the support from my Patreon for testing several versions of the track over the last few weeks!
Thanks to Fanapryde for the UI files.
Comparison Video:
Track Features:
-30 Grid Slots
-Replay Cameras
-Night Lighting (of course)
-Rain FX compatibility
-VAO patch
Please note:
Custom Shaders Patch and Content Manager ARE REQUIRED for the track to work.
PURE and the DEFAULT PURE post processing filter are RECOMENDED for the night lighting brightness.
Despite the amount of time, I have spent on this, there’s still optimization work to be done. A lot of the models have been sourced from 3D warehouse, and the textures and materials are far from optimal. Some progress has been made trying to improve the models, but it’s an ongoing process.
GRAPHICS OPTIONS!
To try and make the track more enjoyable for all, I have included two extension configuration options. These can be found in the GRAPHICS OPTIONS folder.
The Low config, removes some of the higher poly meshes, stops the video screens from playing, and makes the spotlighting less dense. These all add up to a significant FPS boost, so please try this option out.
Also, I recommend using AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, to squeeze some more FPS out of the map, especially if you’re trying to run it at native 4k. This option can be found in Content Manager -> Settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> Graphics Options. Activating it and setting it to Ultra Quality 77% got me from 90FPS native, to 120FPS with no noticeable image quality degradation. Seting it to Balanced 59% gets me to 144hz which is the max refresh of my screen. But this does have a slight reduction in image quality. Reminder this IS compatible with NVIDIA cards also! I understand this isn’t an ideal solution, but for now it’s the best I can come up with for people on slower systems.
Here's an image album comparing the three settings.
