F1 24 Season 1 will see its first new addition to Challenge Career being centered around Charles Leclerc. Along with that come a new Podium Pass and the introduction of the Fanzone mode.

The first season of F1 24 is here, announced today by EA Sports. Titled 'Modern Day Heroes', it introduces challenges and rewards inspired by two of the current grid's drivers. Each season will have its own theme, featuring on-track challenges inspired by the current 2024 season and the rich history of F1 in the form of new Race Scenarios, Challenge Career, Pro Challenges, and a refreshed Podium Pass.

Available until 28 June, the Charles Leclerc Challenge Career will offer a condensed version of the 2024 season with four weekly episodes containing three races per week. Following on from that in July, there will be a dedicated Aston Martin Event Series celebrating the career of Fernando Alonso, highlighting some of his most iconic moments within his extensive time in Formula One.

If a player competes in these events, they will be able to earn in-game items such as liveries for the spec car used in My Team career and ranked online races, as well as racing suits, podium emotes, and more. Additional items will appear in the new Podium Pass series.

Alongside these features is another new addition called Fanzone. Here, players can connect with like-minded people to show support for their teams and ahead of a Grand Prix weekend, they can vote on which teams and drivers will score the most points in the upcoming real-life race. Along with achieving both individual and community goals, players will earn themselves rewards for engaging.

Why put a time limit on it? This is what pisses me off with this title! Time limits, helmet designs etc are only available for a limited time, then disappear! Why? You pay for it, so you should be able to keep them.

They are trying to turn the game into something it’s not. Social media online game.

Codemasters said, before the EA take over, they have loads of ideas to add to the career. Doubt they will ever see the light of day, as EA doesn’t see value in single player experience. They just rebadge existing features and update game annually with things that for any other racing game would be a patch.

EA = Early Access....can't say I didn't expect them to turn this into another Madden or other series with very little updates from year to year other than roster changes.

Since EA has Delisted F1 21 and F1 22 from Steam (F1 22 is still purchasable on their own Service) the Direction is clear. More Money for less and Worse of a Product. Its sad to see Codemasters being made into a soulless extension of EA just to put together the same Garbage over and over again.
