  • Ford Transit.. reasonable
  • BMW Z4 GT3..reasonable
  • Jide 1600..LU + OS everywhere
  • Mazda MX5 Cup.. crap in this car
  • Radical SR3 XXR..LU + OS every where.

  • LU = lockups
  • OS= oversteer
This is not meant to be a critisiam just an explanation of a focus on cars that generally Lock their brakes and oversteer with the slightest onset of inputs that favour a certain type of racer.
I was hoping for a varied selection of cars, not actually expecting cars that are very specialised.
Then put them on a track that is very specialized for a certain type of driver.
I will say I would need a miracle to get that jjide for just one lap around here or a time machine to take me back 20 years to get enough time to practice for one lap without an off.

I can be reasonably competitive in the jibe, but It takes me ages to adjust my inputs to get it right, but a circuit like the ring would take me silly amounts of practice, plus I cannot overtake in the thing, it is just too unstable and unpredictable.
The Mazda is such a specialist car to drive and I have noticed it takes a lot of races before anyone gets to Allan’s standard, that is so evident over these last two years I have been looking at Jari and bouke.
The Radicle is just plain difficult car to get right. Then put it on the ring where most of the corners are there to catch you out.
The Van is what it is, nothing much to say about that.
The z4 is what it is, nothing to say about that.
If we need to find the best drivers, that is easy, they tend to be naturally fast in everything quickly, but even that is not always a done deal, when you use unfamiliar cars and unfamiliar tracks, they can be bettered up to a point, but ultimately that is always very difficult to do.
None of the cars above on mass prove too much, most are RWD difficult cars when attempting to be competitive, with no expansion on variants.
I was expecting a very wide array of cars.
I will still turn up, but it is like going to Mayfair in London and saying the average prices of house in the UK is 5 million pounds based on Mayfair house prices.

The point with the Van and Z4 is that most can jump in and drive, neither takes much effort to get to 98%.

With the Jibe around Brands hatch indy I was up to pace in a dozen short laps, when it got to the GP circuit I was half way through the the first race before I could get my inputs to get any reasonable laps in.

If I am quick in the Mazda, I will be quick in any of the above cars, excluding the Van.
