For while i dreamed to have my own Hypercar or LMP1 in AC, but never was able to have this opportunity. In march/april this year i decided to try myself in modeling and since then i had a lot of fun. This project was started in may, without much knowledge up to this point i kinda startet this blindfolded, watched a lot of tutorials and yeah thats what came out in...

If you're open to suggestions it would be maybe other engine-sound (to be more "E-Feeling", more High-Tech) and how about Mick Schumacher to be incl. as a driver. But all just saying not demanding. Thx!

Not reviewing as I haven't driven it yet, and might not have a chance for a bit, but just wanted to drop a note saying thanks for thoughtful fictional content :) Looks to be a decently high standard on the art side, and I love that you had the rules with you. That's key to a strong fictional design for an existing field.

Nice work, looking forward to more

This is awesome already. I gave it a very quick go around Mugello and Spa, and it sounds and looks the part.

The only thing a bit odd about its appearance is the orange piping in the open engine compartment. At first I thought it's a glowing exhaust. Maybe a grill texture could make it a bit less dominant when following another car? Oh, and the three pointed star maybe could be more of a chrome finish, as I feel like this is what they would go for design wise.

Regarding handling and physics: feels great for scratch made physics, I like that it's pointy and not understeer-heavy like a truck which seems to be the default for so many prototype mods. However, racing against Chem Flumis Cadillac, the car seemed a bit slow in the corners, I'm not sure how and why exactly. I was also slower than YZDs LMP2 around Spa. Of course, this is without much practice and without any setup adjustment except for gearing and aero. Maybe a bit more grip could bring it up to par, but any judgement requires more comparison with the other LMH/LMD Mods out there. This is just my initial feeling, it might very well be wrong.

Oh, and the templates are really useful. Could it be an option to include an .obj file of just the body mesh so that painters can take the file into Mudbox or Blender and apply paint and textures there in 3d? Would maybe make the creation of complex skins easier.

Overall, this is already excellent and very promising. Would love to see LFM use it for their Sportscar Series.

heads up, the car has a issue with the tyre wear, it is not saying the wear on any tyre app, most likely a bit of fat fingering wile making the tyres UT file or the Tyre wear luts, besides that, is gud.

Hi TheBigHase and hi the community !
Neko Taisen's here, the sound modder of the car. 🔊
First I want to thanks Tomsim for making me involved into this project.
And thank everyone of you for your reviews. 🙏

Actually the machine's sound is just a mix of two existing original kunos samples.
The SLS AMG GT3 engine sound and the R18 e-tron hybrid system's sound mixed together with FMOD.
It's nothing fancy, I admit it, but it does the job for now.

You may all know that it is a bit complicated to find a sound of a reving to 9000 RPM Mercedes V8 in real life because obviously it doesn't exist. Plus the fact that's it's nearly impossible to isolate the sound of a unique electrical or transmission stuff without being a professionnal or using professionnal sounds software.

I just tried to make a credible stuff with the few amount of mental energy I still have (I'm going through a very hard life lesson right now). So of course it couldn't be as great as what I already did in the past.

Thanks for your understanding and I hope you'll enjoy the car anyway.
Drive safe and enjoy this festive period. 🎄

Thank you for this great car!

The external front windscreen isn't transparent enough. I changed the transparency from 132 to 20 and now it's looking good ingame with just a little orange tint on the glass.

The number panels have no light at night. To activate the number panel lighting just add this to the ext_config.ini of the car.

[EMISSIVE_LIGHT_...]
NAME=EXT_Body_EmissiveNr
COLOR=5
OFF_COLOR=0

And if someone doesn't like the IMSA panels on the LM24 and WEC skins, just add this to the ext_config.ini in the skin folders.

[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_...]
FILE=TS_AMG_GTP.kn5,TS_AMG_GTP_LOD_B.kn5,TS_AMG_GTP_LOD_C.kn5,TS_AMG_GTP_LOD_D.kn5
HIDE=EXT_IMSA_Panel_LEFT,EXT_IMSA_Panel_RIGHT

Hi,
This car is amazing fun to drive. Thank you so much for creating it! I think it's better than some of the paid mods.

Can I report a couple of little bugs? There are a couple of typos in the data files that lead to minor issues with the front ride height and rear tyre heating.

In the suspension.ini file, the baseline front spring rate is set to 0, which effectively stops the car from reacting to front ride height changes.

For the rear tyres, the thermal patch transfer value in tyres.ini has a zero missing compared to the fronts, which makes them get hot much faster, making them a bit spicy in fast sequences like Becketts at Silverstone, or the esses at COTA.

Beyond these, I've modded the setup.ini to be able to access the Wing2 aero data, so that both ends can be tuned. This is mostly because I'm an aero nerd, and isn't really appropriate for the Hypercar rules, but it's a tweak I like. :)

Thanks again for sharing this great piece of work!

First off, it looks and sounds amazing. Really good job.

I do however seem to be having an issue with the Force Feedback. When at low speeds, in any gear, there is so much vibration in my wheel as soon as I start to creep forward that it actually feels dangerous to touch! The wheel oscillates like crazy at medium/high speeds and has uncontrollable vibration at low speed that shakes my entire rig.

I have everything in AC set to zero (road, slip, kerbs, abs) and the gain set to 60%. This is fine for almost all other vehicles. I have even tried turning the gain down as low as 5% when using this vehicle, I then get next to no FFB at all (obviously), but the excessive vibration at low speed and the crazy oscillation at high speed is still just as strong as before.

I have over 100 vehicles installed and have never had this issue before. I'm not asking for a personalised fix or anything, at the end of the day I understand this is free content that you have provided for the community, which I greatly appreciate, but was wondering if there is anything that comes to mind as a possible cause that I can look into to try and get this to work as expected.

For reference, I am using:

Fanatec CSL DD (8Nm)
Fanatec McLaren GT3 v2 Wheel

Thank you!
